Time-Lapse Creator is a new FREE ADD-ON to create lapse video sequences starting from images (frames) captured with a specific frequency. Time-Lapse technique is usually used to create videos with a frame rate much higher that the frequency at which frames are captured. For example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then played back at 20 frames per seconds; the results is an apparent 20 times speed increase.

With This new component BMP.JPG-BMP Player iDaq can publish images processed by other systems like Keyence, COGNEX, that do patterne Matching or specific measurements. Supported file formats are JPG, PNG and BMP.

iDaq interface can be minimized in Tray Bar (Nuova Feature )

A new option has been added to iDaq to minimize its interface in Tray Bar. This function is useful when users have Windows gadgets running in right side of the screen. To show iDaq main buttons, click on iDaq icon in Tray Bar and select i"Show/Hide" from iDaq Pop Up menu.

New Waveform Processing Unit (WPU) to filter acquired signals, included in iDaq installer (Nuova Feature )

iDaq includes a new WPU that allows to filter acquired signals. Filter can be configured according to different needs: available filter types are: LOW PASS, HIGH PASS, BAND PASS and REMOVE BAND. For every filter type you can define cutoff frequency and filter order.

iDaq includes a User Assistant that helps users to find what thay are looking in iDaq IDE.

DSA parameters are handled ina separated dialog (Nuova Feature )

Acquisition modules such NI 9229, NI 9234 and others, that use Delta Sigma ADC, have a specific Input Delay calculated on the basis of a couple of parameters described in their Specifications. iDaq includes all DSA parameters for all supported acquisition devices. If user wants to edit these parameters, a new dialog window allows to insert Input Delay values exactly as they are indicated in module technical specifications.

iDaq includes media folder (Nuova Feature )

iDaq includes a new folder c:\idaq\media used to store thumbnails and images used by devices. User can cutomize default thumbnails adding and editing images in PNG format.

iDaq includes a new Driver to acquire images from Low Cost USB Cameras (Nuova Feature )

iDaq includes "Camera Light" a Driver for USB Cameras. This Driver allows to acquire from low USB2 and USB3 cameras. I supports different frame rates and publishes images in JPG format.

New button in Help page to display current IP address (Nuova Feature )

A new button has been added in iDaq help page, to display current IP address. When iDaq is executed on computer that has dynamic IP address (DHCP) and remote connections have to be established , this button helps user to know their current IP Address.

New button to restart acquisition task when device status is "error" (Nuova Feature )

When a device stop its acquisition task due to wrong configuration or because it has been temporary disconnected from PC, a red led is displayed on device icon. With a right click on device icon, you can display a list of three buttons. The second button allows to re-initialize selected device and re-start its acquisition task.

New button to edit physical resource of selected channel (Nuova Feature )

A new button has been added to channel editor dialog, to edit Resource Name associated to selected channel. Resource Name is the physical name of a device resource, such Dev1/ai0. Generally, users don't need to edit this name, but advanced and complex configurations may request user to edit this value to create customized measurement systems.

SyncCDaqMod doesn'import not configured channels (Nuova Feature )

One of most commen mistakes during configuration of SyncCDAQMod device is importing unconfigured channels. SyncCDAQMod uses channel settings to create DAQ-mx tasks and when channels are not configured accoridng to their origianl device capabilities, Acquisition task fails execution. Now SyncCDAQMod displays a warning message when user imports channels that have not been configured.
