Easy Data Logger allows you to share session in the web. A copy of the Easy Data Logger session (inclusind real time data, indicators, background images) is available on the web. This allows you to share acquisition information with your colleagues, in other room, office, or continent.
Shared data: background images, real-time signal data, indicators, arrows and session status.
EDL session can be shared through a QR code or a website link.

Automatic reconnection (New Feature )
If iDaq connection is down, EDL is able to restore the connection automatically without closing the application. This is useful for unmonitored systems where long running session could affect disconnections. With this feature, storage and visualization continue as soon as connection is restored.

Auto Recording At Start-up (New Feature )
Easy Data Logger permits to restore a recording session when the application is reloaded. If Easy Data Logger is closed properly, recording is stopped before closing application; hence, regardless of the value of Auto Recording At Start-up, recording will be not activated when the Easy Data Logger session is reloaded. Vice versa, if Easy Data Logger is not closed properly and a recording is active when the Easy Data Logger is shut down and if Auto Recording At Start-up has been enabled, recording will be restored when the Easy Data Logger session is reloaded. This feature can be useful for unmonitored systems.
Run-time palette (New Feature )
Object palette is a rapid way to access both basic and advanced features of any object. Object palettes change according to the object type. Actions that can be done using the palettes are: editing object parameters, opening a floating chart, changing object color, growing/shrinking text font, changing object style, applying zero offset, adding related resources to the text-to-speech manager, aligning all the objects, and removing the object.
The object palette is handy both for touch and mouse.

New Triggers (New Feature )
Easy Data Logger supports new triggers to start and stop recording sessions programmatically. Triggers can be defined as conditions on acquired signals or timestamps. Supported triggers are: crossing value, in-out range value, select time(s) elapsed time, triggers on digital lines, GPS position changed, trigger on tokens, and global triggers.
Support of actions to be executed when a start or stop trigger occurs (New Feature )
Easy Data Logger supports a list of actions to be executed when a start or stop trigger occurs. Easy Data Logger manages two actions list: one for start triggers and another one for stop triggers.
Supported actions are: set digital output line, sound, log event to file, send a WhatAPP message, and send an e-mail.
Disabling of visualization (New Feature )
Easy Data Logger allows users to disable the object visualization in the main panel. When visualization is disabled, objects (text, gauge, picture, button, etc. ) in the main panel are not shown. Notice that acquisition and saving are not affected by the visualization status.
Saving of image data (New Feature )
Easy Data Loggers can save acquired images. Images are saved only during an active recording session. Images are saved in the same folder of signals
Management of iDaq Lock status (New Feature )
Easy Data Logger monitors the lock status of iDaq. When idaq is locked, some feature of Easy Data Loggers are locked too. This feature is available for ADD-ON distribution only.
Backup of settings when objects to be removed are detected (New Feature )
All the settings of Easy Data Logger are automatically saved in the session folder. In this way, it is possible to refresh all the application parameters when an existing session is reloaded. At start-up, if one or more necessary resources are unavailable (because its device has been removed from iDaq), all the objects related to the unavailable resources are automatically removed. In this case,
Easy Data Logger creates a backup (APP.BAK) of settings data before removing objects. To restore settings, close Easy Data Logger, restore hardware configuration, rename APP.BAK to APP.EDL and restart Easy Data Logger.
Automotically synchronization with iDaq configuration (New Feature )
Object names and ranges can be synchronized with iDaq configuration. In this cases, if channel name and range change in iDaq, name and ranges of the related objects changes in Easy Data Logger too. Synchronization is automatic: every time iDaq configuration changes, objects are updated.
Threshold evaluation for Analog Input objects (New Feature )
For Analog Input objects, threshold evaluation can be performed. This feature allows user to define a range and, starting from this range, object colors changes according to its value. For all the Analog Input object types except for Chart, the value of the related Analog Input resource is directly used to evaluate threshold status. For Chart objects, threshold evaluation is applied to all the related resources; if at least a resource is out of range, the Chart object is considered out of range too.
Triggers automatically created from threshold (New Feature )
Easy Data Loggers allows user to create a start and a stop trigger from the defined threshold range (for Analog Input object only). A strat and a stop trigger can be created starting from the threshold. These triggers are automatically created from the threshold range and they are analog to the In Out Range Triggers. When the object is deleted or if the threshold evaluation is disabled, these triggers are automatically removed.
Performance improvements (New Feature )
Even if the device in use has a lot of channels, only the necessary resources are acquired. Moreover, a new and more efficient visualization management is used.
Precision move option (New Feature )
In Move mode, Easy Data Logger pertmits to move objects using drag and drop feature or arrow buttons. Precision move allows to switch between precision and rough move..When precision move is enabled, by clicking on an arrow, the selected object is slightly moved. Vice versa, when rough move is enabled, displacement is greater.
New frequencies of saving (New Feature )
Easy Data Logger supports several frequencies of saving. It allows data logging with a frequency from 1 sample / minute up to 1MHz.
Use Decimal point option for logged data (New Feature )
This option allows user to save analog signals using the system decimal point.
Recording at startup (New Feature )
This feature allows to start recording automatically when EDL is lunched, if it was recording when it terminated last execution. Take advantage of this feature for unsupervised recording sessions, long measurement campains and when EDL has to start recording automatically in case of power OFF /power ON sequences.
