Analog input acquisition allows to select which channels have to be used and which not.

In Analog Acquition task (Voltage, current, acceleometers, Strain Gauge, Bridge, Resistance, Termocouple, RTD, Forec IEPE, Velocity IEPE sensors), user can select which channels on its National Instruments acquisition device, have to be used and which channels have to be disabled.
This feature expands system configuration capabilities because user can select acquisition channels where sensors are connected only, and iDaq optimizes system performance.

In DAQmx devices, default sampling frequency changes according to the module in use

Some DAQmx modules, as NI-9233, NI-9234, and NI-9237, does not support any sampling frequency. In these cases,iDaq uses a default sampling frequency supported by the modules. For example, 2 kHz is used for NI-9233 and NI-9237, while 6.4 kHz is used for NI-9234. For modules that haven't a contrain in the sampling frequency value, 1 kHz is used.
Range and unit of measurement is customizable for each channel type

A new iDaq ADD-ON has beel released: Time-Lapse Creator

Time-Lapse Creator is a new FREE ADD-ON to create lapse video sequences starting from images (frames) captured with a specific frequency. Time-Lapse technique is usually used to create videos with a frame rate much higher that the frequency at which frames are captured. For example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then played back at 20 frames per seconds; the results is an apparent 20 times speed increase.

DSA parameters are handled ina separated dialog

Acquisition modules such NI 9229, NI 9234 and others, that use Delta Sigma ADC, have a specific Input Delay calculated on the basis of a couple of parameters described in their Specifications. iDaq includes all DSA parameters for all supported acquisition devices. If user wants to edit these parameters, a new dialog window allows to insert Input Delay values exactly as they are indicated in module technical specifications.

New button to restart acquisition task when device status is "error"

When a device stop its acquisition task due to wrong configuration or because it has been temporary disconnected from PC, a red led is displayed on device icon. With a right click on device icon, you can display a list of three buttons. The second button allows to re-initialize selected device and re-start its acquisition task.

Generally, users don't need to edit this name, but advanced and complex configurations may request user to edit this value to create customized measurement systems.
SyncCDaqMod doesn'import not configured channels

One of most commen mistakes during configuration of SyncCDAQMod device is importing unconfigured channels. SyncCDAQMod uses channel settings to create DAQ-mx tasks and when channels are not configured accoridng to their origianl device capabilities, Acquisition task fails execution. Now SyncCDAQMod displays a warning message when user imports channels that have not been configured.
iDaq crashes when loads snapshot configuration
Fixed Issue
When a saved snapshot with Device configuration is loaded, iDaq crashes. This issue occurs if snapshot refers to ProductTypes that are not supported by iDaq. If, for instance, one of devices in snapshot is a compactRIO and iDaq is configured without CompactRIO Driver for iDaq, then CompactRIO device cannot be loaded and iDaq crashes. Ensure that all Drivers to manage your Product Types are installed before loading the snapshots.
Decimation and Padding hungs up when acquistion device is stopped
